In Between Sessions is a modern, virtual therapy practice offering therapy in Florida, Maine, and Vermont.

We specialize in Single Session Therapy- one focused session with no waitlist, no diagnosis, and no commitment to weekly therapy.

Months or years of ongoing, weekly therapy is one option for your mental healthcare— we provide another option: Single Session Therapy.

Single Session Therapy (SST) is a one-time, intentional therapy appointment that helps individuals and couples sort out something specific — with no pressure to commit to long-term therapy.

SST is designed to give results in one session.
- 79%-88% of people report positive results after just one single session! -

No waitlists. No intake forms that take forever. Just help — at your fingertips and when you need it.

What is Single Session Therapy?

    • 1-2 Hour Focused Session

    • A supportive and directive space to talk through a specific concern

    • Expert support from a licensed mental health provider

    • Coping tools, insights, and personalized resources

  • Right now, we offer Single Session Therapy for adult individuals and adult couples (18+) who are interested in a focused one-time therapy session for a specific concern.

  • It might surprise you, but research shows that a single, well-timed therapy session can have lasting impact — especially when you already have some self-awareness, and just need support moving forward.

And if you want more later? You can always come back.

    • You want support but you don’t want to commit to weekly therapy

    • You’re spiraling and want to get grounded

    • You like the autonomy of picking when you have an appointment. Your life and mental health doesn’t fit into a weekly session right now.

    • You’re making a big decision and feel stuck

    • You’re in between sessions, your therapist is on vacation, or you’re on a waitlist for another service

    • You’re somewhere in between “not in a crisis” but also “I don’t need weekly therapy”

    • You just need a session or two to get clarity, not commit forever

    • It makes financial sense for you to pay for sessions as needed instead of accumulating costs for weekly sessions, cancellation fees when something comes up, etc.

In Between Sessions was built exactly for these moments — the in-between times when you need extra support.

And we’re here when you are.
